Ovation! will hold auditions for Lionel Bart's Oliver! September 20th and 21st, 2008 at the Bainbridge Commons. Callbacks will be on Monday, September 22, 2008. The production will be presented in December 2008 over three weekends - December 5-21, 2008.
As with all Ovation! productions, all parts are open. Performers of all ages (8+ at time of audition) and experience levels are encouraged to audition. This production of Oliver! is presented through special arrangement with Tams-Witmark. The production will be directed by Ron Milton with musical direction by Corinna Lapid-Munter and costume design by Barbara Klingberg.

PLEASE NOTE: While the 1968 movie version of the musical Oliver! is a lovely award-winning film, it is not a 100% representation of the stage production. For example, several of the songs have been rearranged, are in different physical locations or have been omitted altogether. While it offers a flavor of the show, it is not a suitable reference piece for understanding the stage version.
