What's Next for Ovation!?
Summer 2008:
Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge presentedthe award-winning, Into The Woods, Summer 2008. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, this Tony Award winning musical entertained and inspired with its wonderful story and its mesmerizing score. Ron Milton was the Director, Corinna Lapid-Munter was the Music Director and Barbara Klingberg was the Costume Designer, assisted by Kathy Doll. Holiday 2008:
Nothing works on the stage like a well-crafted tale, and Lionel Bart's Tony-Award winning musical, Oliver!, is just such a show. Based on the Dickens novel, Oliver! is packed with outstanding musical numbers. Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, Consider Yourself, As Long As He Needs Me, Who Will Buy and Reviewing the Situation are musical theatre classics. Dickens' finely drawn characters are brought to life in this holiday production. Ron Milton is the Director, Corinna Lapid-Munter is the Music Director and Barbara Klingberg is the Costume Designer. Auditions will be September 20th and 21st, 2008.
This production is through special arrangement with the Tams-Witmark Music Libary, Inc.
Summer 2009: The Mikado Ovation! will present the Gilbert & Sullivan classic, The Mikado, in nine performances in July 2009. Auditions will be in March 2009.
