(Note, if you have eight or more in your party and there is one ticket purchase we are happy to arrange a reserved block of seats for you - tickets must be purchased together, however. Email info@ovationmtb.com to arrange this.)
Theatre Information: All performances are at the Bainbridge High School Theatre (no affiliation, we rent the stage) at 9330 NE High School Road on Bainbridge Island. There is ample on-site parking.
Box Office Times and House Opening: The theatre Box Office will open 45 minutes prior to curtain. The house opens 30 minutes prior to curtain. It is open seating.
Ferry Schedules and Taxis: If you are arriving via ferry please allow ample time, especially if you are driving a car on the boat. If you are walking onto the ferry, we recommend arranging a ride or a taxi in advance as the theatre is a couple miles from the ferry terminal. You can arrange for a taxi to meet you at the ferry and after the show by calling Bainbridge Island Taxi at 206-842-7900. Uber and Lyft are also options. You can view the ferry schedules here. Bainbridge also has Uber and Lyft available, but there are few drivers and they are often busy so plan ahead!
Arrival Time: We recommend you plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to curtain. The theatre is general admission - there are no assigned seats (except for patrons requiring special assistance) and you need time to park and get settled. To obtain assistance for elderly or disabled patrons, please email info@ovationmtb.com.
Run Time: The show is in two acts. There is a 15 minute intermission. Run time excluding intermission is about one hour and 45 minutes.
Enjoy Bainbridge Island! Come over early or stay late and have dinner in one of our many delightful restaurants, or have brunch before the matinee. There are many lovely shops to browse as you wrap up your holiday shopping and fun places to visit. We hope you will spend the day with us. For more information about attractions, shopping and dining on Bainbridge Island, visit the Bainbridge Downtown Association's website for ideas here.
Late Arrival and Unclaimed Will Call Ticket Policy: Live theatre is just that - live. People arriving late are a distraction to the performers on stage and to the other patrons. Late arrivals are seated at the House Manager's discretion and only at an appropriate time. They are required to take the nearest seat to them. Sometimes actors enter and exit through the house - arriving late and standing in an aisle can pose a safety hazard for the actor, for yourself and for other patrons. No refunds are offered for late arrivals and we reserve the right to re-sell unclaimed will call tickets if the production is sold out and there is a waiting list if the party is not in place five minutes prior to curtain. This is a common policy amongst theatres.
Refund Policy: Theatre tickets are limited and perishable by nature and all sales are final. If you encounter a family emergency or find yourself in a situation where you need to attend a performance other than the one you purchased tickets for, email us at info@ovationmtb.com and if we have tickets available we may be able to make an exchange but we cannot refund the purchase. We can only offer this convenience for tickets purchased online.
Inclement Weather Policy: If inclement weather requires Ovation! to cancel a scheduled performance, patrons will be offered tickets to our next upcoming performance or a refund. Refunds or exchanges are not available to patrons who cannot make a performance due to inclement weather - only if Ovation! has to cancel the entire performance.
Information for Patrons Needing Special Assistance: We are happy to provide reserved easy-access seating for our elderly and/or disabled audience members. Advance arrangements are required to guarantee reserved easy access seating. Email info@ovationmtb.com to make arrangements. If you do not have access to email, you may call or text our emergency number at 206-963-0163. We can reserve in advance a spot for the individual(s) who need special assistance and up to two companions (up to four in the party altogether - this is necessary to ensure all patrons requiring assistance can be accommodated). The best place to park for elderly/disabled patrons is behind the theatre - the parking lot between the stadium and the theatre and there is faster access and no stairs. Please be sure you arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes prior to curtain and take your seats no later than ten minutes prior to curtain so there is ample time for special assistance patrons to take care of personal needs, find their seats and get settled before we begin. Late arrivals may not be seated (see late arrival policy).
Babes in Arms: All people attending a production regardless of age must have a ticket. It is the fire code policy. Thank you for understanding.
Photography and Recording of any Kind: Recording, photographing or taping any part of any performance - including curtain calls - at any time is strictly forbidden. It is illegal, a contractual violation and a distraction to performers onstage (resulting in a safety issue) and to other patrons.
Patron Consideration: In consideration of other theatre goers, please turn off all electronic devices and refrain from checking them during the performance. Talking, whispering, etc., is very distracting. Please take care that children attending are watching and listening without distracting others.
Information for Parents: Parents are the best judge as to what is appropriate for their children to see. Ovation!'s production of Masquerade is rated PG.
